Core Electronics – Students with no experience in the field of electronics learn the
four basic types of circuits: DC, AC, Analog and Digital. Once students complete 1050 hours, they
will be able to identify any component on a circuit board; plus troubleshoot
and diagnose electronic circuits.
Troubleshooting and problem solving are encouraged in this program. Electronics is the foundation for many new
and emerging fields such as biomedical electronics, magnetic recording
electronics and portable systems design. This is a progress-based program with individual instruction. Student’s pace is regulated so they will
complete within 1050 hours time limit.
Students may exceed pace developed by the instructor to take advantage
of on-the-job training opportunities. • Electronics Technology is a part of the Engineering &
