Dottie Bobo has been a member of the Board of Directors for Southwest Technology Center in Altus, OK, since November 1992. She holds a full-time position as Vice-President of Operations for the Red River Credit Union, a position she has held since 1980.
She was born in Petersburg, WV, and graduated from Petersburg High School in 1960.
Following graduation, she married and moved from the country with her husband while he was in the Air Force. In 1975, they moved to Altus where he was assigned to Altus AFB and she started her career with the Credit Union.
Extremely active in the community, she is an Ambassador with the Chamber of Commerce; a Charter Member of the Chamber of Commerce's Committee of 100; a graduate of Leadership Altus I; serves on the annual Christmas Parade Committee; and is the treasurer of the local chapter of the Air Force Association.
She is a past board member of the Jackson County United Way and serves as Chairperson of the Allocations Committee' Secretary o
Barbara Burge has been a member of the Board of Directors for Southwest Technology Center in Altus, OK, since August, 1996. While not volunteering her time as Board Member with SWTC, she is the District Officer Manager for Cable One, a position she assumed in February, 1992.
She was born in Eldorado, OK, where she attended school, graduating in 1960 as Salutatorian of her class at Eldorado High School.
Following graduation, she started a 29 year career with Southwestern Bell, retiring in February, 1992. While with the Telephone Company, she held numerous positions in Altus and in Lawton, OK, office including Serve Representative, Business Office Supervisor, and Manager Residence Service Center. She completed her distinguished career as Community Relations Manager in the Altus office.

Mark Nichols has been a member of the Board of Directors for Southwest Technology Center in Altus, OK, since March 1995. He is a self-employed farmer/rancher in Jackson County and has been farming since he was 18 years old.
He was born in Altus, OK, and graduated from Altus High School in 1976 and attended Western Oklahoma State College.
In 1984, he was selected as the Oklahoma Outstanding Farmer of the Year. In 1988, he completed Oklahoma State University's Agriculture Leadership Program and is a 1996 graduate of Leadership Oklahoma. He was recognized for his support to the military in 1992 and presented the Distinguished Citizen Award by the Commander-In-Chief of the Military Airlift Command, a major command in the United States Air Force responsible for worldwide airlift support for the Department of Defense.

Don Proctor became a member of the Board of Education for the Southwest Technology Center in June, 2000.
He was born in Waurika, Okla. and graduated from Waurika High School in 1962. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla. earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1966 and a Masters degree in 1982. Both degrees are in Agriculture Education.
Following graduation, he taught vocational agriculture at Southside and later at Minco High School. In 1970, he begin a career with the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service as Comanche County Extension 4-H Agent. He served in this position until 1974 when he moved to Altus to accept a position as Jackson County Extension Agriculture Agent. He served in this capacity until retiring in December, 1997.

Dennis Vernon has been a member of the Board of Directors for Southwest Technology Center in Altus, OK, since 1994. When not volunteering his time to the Board, he is an Agriculture and Commercial Loan Officer for First National Bank in Altus and presently serves on its Board of Directors. He also raises cattle and has farming interests.
He graduated from Tipton High School, Tipton, OK, in 1966 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, in 1970.
Vernon and his family moved to Altus in 1970, where he served as the OSU Extension Agent until 1974 when he accepted a position at FNB.
